Throughout the summer months M.V. Volante operates a scheduled evening ferry service between Iona and Fionnphort, on the Ross of Mull. The service is for passengers only and operates in the evening, after the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry is finished for the day.

The service is designed to enable both visitors and local residents, to spend more time on Mull and Iona in the summer evenings, where you can enjoy a leisurely meal, visit the local pubs or just do a bit of sightseeing after our islands have quietened down for the day.

The sailings are also timed to enable travellers who are coming, from further afield, by car or taxi, to catch the later* Caledonian MacBrayne ferries from Oban to Mull, and still get to Iona in the evening.

* Take the 18.00hrs ferry from Oban and catch our 20.15hrs sailing from Fionnphort to Iona, or take the 20.00hrs ferry from Oban, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and catch our 22.00hrs sailing.

Codes	A	Operates daily from 14th. of April until 31st. of August.
	B	Operates daily from 3rd of May until 17th. of August and must be booked
		before 20.00hrs on the day of sailing.

Fares	A	£ 6.00 Single / person.
	B	£ 6.00 Single / person - but a minimum charge of £18.00 applies if less than three passengers.
